Natural Strength Inner Circle

Welcome to the Natural Strength Inner Circle at NaturalStrength.net. We discuss Serious, Drug-Free, Strength Training. The term Physical Culture was commonly used by oldetime lifters & strongmen to describe their dedication to a strength & muscle building philosophy. Only an elite few seasoned and dedicated lifters understand what it means today. We are honored to bring back the Physical Culture philosophy and keep it alive in the post steroid era. Strength and good health are inseperable in our philosophy. We are united by our desire to maximize muscular strength and development without the use of performance enhancing drugs. We treat all brother & sister natural lifters with respect. Training hard & progressively without drugs are bonds that unite us. We are not personally offended by other differences in training modes or methods. QUALITY INFORMATION (not quantity of B.S.) is the goal of this board.

"Every man is the builder of a temple called his body...We are all sculptors and painters, and our material is our own flesh and blood and bones."
-Henry David Thoreau

"Progression is the law of growth. Whoever accedes to that law will succeed."
-George Jowett

"All of us were young, healthy, tough and had the attitude that you had better throw everything you've got at us because we came to train!"
-Dr. Ken E. Leistner

"The turn off that bodybuilding took a few decades ago, when it went the 'steroid/size/nut route' was truly tragic. Just look at how it has, literally, made the word 'bodybuilding' an emotive one! Mention 'bodybuilder' and the majority of those sane people under the age of 40 who hear it will conjure an image of a gender-challenged, overbloated, grotesque, drug-consuming freak, and they will likely be gripped with nausea. And who can blame them for having such a reaction? Gone is Grimek, Eifferman, Stanko, Park, Jowett, Sipes, Abele, etc. etc. and so forth. And the REAL Masters of the Iron Game (ie men like Rader, Hoffman, Paschall, and McCallum) have been replaced by goons."
-Bradley J. Steiner

"I’m tired of former drug addicts and criminals who are glorified because they have changed and are rehabilitated. The real heroes and champions of life are the ones who never did the drugs and never got in trouble. They did the right thing consistently. A champion is not the reformed steroid user either. Real champions would never dream of using drugs. Take down the pictures of steroid users from your gym walls and replace them with pictures of the old-timers or anyone that you could bet your life never took drugs. Have no respect for any drug user. If you say that you’re against drugs, then you can’t give drug users a place of honor and respect in your life."
-Bob Whelan
